Yes I agree. Tim LaHaye is beyond "out there." A friend of mine told me about a book by LaHaye and his wife that she was given to read by her pre-marital counselor called "The Act of Marriage." She said it was complete crap and her and her fiancee only read it to get a good laugh. The basic gist of the book was that since the body structure of a man indicated that he was to be a dominant one, that missionary position was the only "Christian" way of having sex. Screw that! (no pun intended) I'm getting the Kama Sutra when I get married!

And yeah, "I Kissed Dating Goodbye" was one of those books that said a lot without realy saying anything. It came out when I was about 16, and so of course my parents made me read it. I thought it was kind of dumb that it kept talking about how wonderful "courtship" was, and yet never really explained what it was. It seemed the point of the book was just the "Christian" way to get around dating...that or how to protect yourself from getting hurt...
